1980's Beano - help!

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me? I am looking for a Beano from the very early 1980's (definitely no later than 1982) but could possibly be from the late 1970's.

The front cover features Dennis the Menace and he is playing either checkers or chess in the front garden on a huge checkers board.

Can anyone tell me what the date of this comic's publication was or what number the issues was?

Sounds like one of the comics and not one of the Annuals. I beleive Snibbo is a collector of the Annuals and he may well be able to answer that one .
