Lord Titan’s main battle submarine, the Terror Fish, are the scourge of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP). His origins are unknown, but his amphibious nature enables him to live in both water and on land. He would therefore appear to be the perfect foil to Stingray and WASP, if it weren't for the fact that he is not very competent and often bungles Titan's devious plans! Despite his bug-eyes, webbed feet and silvery skin complexion, X-2-Zero does not seem to be hampered as a master of disguise, often using this ploy to attempt to wreak havoc amongst WASP and surface people. Living in a secret base on the Isle of Lemoy, a barren stretch of rock in the Pacific Ocean, it is tactically located near to the WASP HQ at Marineville. DATA… ‘Deep Heat’ Commander Shore launches Stingray to investigate the disappearance of a sea probe lost in an undersea volcano. Stingray is pulled by a strange force to the bottom of the crater where Troy and Phones discover two subterraneans called Turata and Fragil, who explain that they were part of a civilisation called Centrallius which was destroyed when the volcano erupted. The volcano has become active again and they will all perish if they don’t escape soon. Turata admits that they lured Stingray into the volcano to escape but Troy and Phones are still happy to take them back to Marineville. However, as soon as Turata and Fragil learn that there are only two sets of breathing apparatus they hold Troy and Phones at gun point and steal their aqua-gear for themselves. Marina spies the subterraneans swimming out to Stingray and she closes the hatch, stopping them from getting in. Turata and Fragil decide to go back for Troy and Phones in the hope they will be able to open Stingray. Luckily Troy and Phones notice the pair returning and knock them out as they enter the airlock. They speed back up to the top as the fire from the lava chases them. Once they reach the top they all enter Stingray and manage to escape the volcano before it erupts.
