I know also, that out of their evil, must come something good." The Time Lords intercept the transmat beam taking the Doctor, Sarah and Harry back to Space Station Nerva and deposit them instead on the planet Skaro at an early point in its history. The Doctor is given both a mission to prevent or alter the Daleks' development so that they become less of a threat to the universe and a time ring that will enable him and his companions to return to the TARDIS once this has been done. The Fourth Doctor was played by Tom Baker for seven consecutive seasons, from 8th June 1974 to 21st March 1981, and remains the longest-lived incarnation of the Doctor in the show's on-screen history. Our exclusive Fourth Doctor will be cast from 1.2kgs of solid English Pewter by AE. Williams of Birmingham, makers of traditional hand cast English Pewter since 1779. Historically, A.E. Original Robert Harrop Designs AdvertNEW! Doctor Who Solid English Pewter Figurine A Limited Edition of Only 100 Figurines Doctor Who Cyberman 1975 Be part of our history with the very first Doctor Who pieces to be released into our new Doctor Who range of sculptures! Each exquisite figurine is hand crafted from solid English pewter and a Limited Edition of only 100 pieces Worldwide! As a mark of provenance, every piece will be hand stamped with a unique edition number and accompanied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity! The Fourth Doctor From ‘Genesis of the Daleks’ 1975 "Cybermen can survive more efficiently than animal organisms. That is why we will rule the galaxy." The time ring from ‘Genesis of the Daleks’ takes the Doctor and his companions back to Space Station Nerva, to a period many thousands of years earlier than their previous visit. The station is currently acting as a beacon warning space traffic of the existence of a new asteroid orbiting Jupiter. This asteroid is what was left of planet Voga, a planet with an extremely high gold content and thought to be destroyed by the Cybermen. The Cybermen are a race of cyborgs who are among the most persistent enemies of the Doctor. Originally a wholly organic species of humanoids originating on Earth's twin planet Mondas, they began to implant more and more artificial parts into their bodies as a means of self-preservation. This led to the race becoming coldly logical and calculating, with every emotion deleted from their minds. Our exclusive Cyberman will be cast from 1.1kgs of solid English Pewter by AE. Williams of Birmingham, makers of traditional hand cast English Pewter since 1779. Historically, A.E. Williams have produced traditional Pewterware for palaces, cathedrals, stately homes, major Film TV and Theatre Companies as well as domestic Pewterware. Each exquisite figurine is hand crafted from solid English pewter and a Limited Edition of only 100 pieces Worldwide! As a mark of provenance, every piece will be hand stamped with a unique edition number and accompanied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity! Silurian From ‘Doctor Who and the Silurians’ 1970 "He talks of sharing our planet with apes! I shall wipe them out!" Summoned by the Brigadier to an underground research centre at Wenley Moor, the Doctor and Liz Shaw learn from its director, Dr Lawrence, that work on a new type of nuclear reactor is being hampered by inexplicable power losses and by an unusually high incidence of stress-related illness amongst staff. Investigating a nearby cave system, the Doctor discovers it is the base of a group of intelligent reptiles, termed Silurians, who went into hibernation millions of years ago but have now been revived by power from the research centre! The Silurians are a race of reptilian humanoids who made their first appearance in ‘Doctor Who and the Silurians’ in the time of the Third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee. The Silurians are described as prehistoric and scientifically advanced humanoids who predate human history and went into self-induced hibernation to survive what they predicted to be a large geological disaster. You've got to come out on to the balcony sometimes and wave a tentacle!" UNIT are investigating a series of attacks on North Sea oil rigs and Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart summons the Doctor and his companions to UNIT’s temporary HQ in the Scottish village of Tullock. Upon investigation in appears that the attacks are the work of a huge cyborg, the Skarasen, controlled by a group of aliens called Zygons whose spaceship lies at the bottom of Loch Ness. They ultimately plan to take over the Earth as a substitute for their own planet, which has been devastated by solar flares. The Zygons first appeared in ‘Terror of the Zygons’ and have the unique ability to replicate the appearance of another being at will, although they must keep the subject alive in order to use its body print. One of their spacecraft, commanded by warlord Broton, crash landed into Loch Ness in Antiquity. The Skarasen is a cyborg grown from an embryo and it is used by the Zygon's as a life source, providing them with the lactic fluid they need to survive.
