Morph and Chas Two Figurine Pack
Continuing our partnership with Aardman Animations it seemed that it was our duty to explore the possibility of creating Morph in figurine form. A simple character, yet with bags of personality that could be shown in a slight slump of the shoulders or the crease of a brow. Testament to the quality of stop motion animation and a trait that has continued into many of Aardman's produtions ever since.
Morph - Aardman Animations
Created in 1977 by David Sproxton and Peter Lord, Morph was a (very) animated modelling clay character who initially appeared on Tony Hart's BBC Television art programmes Take Hart and Hartbeat. Appearing in one minute 'shorts' throughout the show, Morph could change his 'morphology' to mimic other objects and creatures, or to extrude himself into a cylinder to pass through the floor or ceiling.
Living in a wooden pencil box on Tony Hart's desk, Morph was laterly joined by the cream-coloured Chas, who was much more badly behaved!
Please note that Chas is a strict Time Limited Edition and will only be available to order from 31st August until Midnight on 1st November, 2012.
