A figurine originally sculpted by Matt Buckley, with a special finish of a silver patina, a painting pattern conceived and hand painted by Peggy Horton, our head paintress. Each piece is individually numbered from 1 to 50 and comes complete with a silver Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Robert Harrop, and a 50 pence piece dated from 1997, the year the smaller 'new' 50 pence was introduced. Bulldog, Henry V, Pewter, Figurine 'Once more unto the breach, dear friends! 2015 will mark the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, a major English victory in the Hundred Years' War, against a numerically superior French army. Led by King Henry V, he would return to England as a conquering hero and recognised in France as the regent and rightful heir to the French throne. So what better why to celebrate the mettle of Henry V but with our very own metal Bulldog! Cast from just under 2kgs of solid English Pewter, this triumphant figurine is a Limited Edition of only 25 figurines World wide! For the production of these unique pewter figurines we have again commissionned A.E. Williams of Birmingham, makers of traditional hand cast English Pewter since 1779. Historically, A.E.
