BDS06 DENNIS FISHING August-96 RETIRED 2000 The Two Dennis'sAs most people are aware painting the Beano & Dandy figures made by Robert Harrop was done abroad from around 1998 so anything done after this time doesn't have the artist intials on the back and they usually have a sticker on the base that says Robert Harrop Designs Ltd where as the UK painted figures have a sticker that says Robert Harrop Designs Shropshire England. When the painting was done abroad there were a couple of mix ups in the paint schedule here are a couple of examples. The UK painted BDS06 Dennis Fishing always has a red & black float Painted abroad it was plain red.  Thanks to Poppy for the Photograph and information RRP :- £22.55 |

Every dog has his day, and every DANDY reader has his dog...Black Bob, champion sheepdog, and for decades, one of the brightest stars in British comics. Danger and excitement have been as much part of this dog's life as minding the flock and competing in sheepdog trials. Whether at home in Scotland's border country with his master, Andrew Glenn, or visiting countries like Mexico, Canada and Argentina, Bob has rounded up almost as many crooks, smugglers and spies over the years as lost lambs.
