BDB03 BIG DESPERATE DAN 750 LIMITED EDITION February-02 RETIRED 2004 Photo copyright of Robert Harrop Designs Many thanks to Dan Buckley for the following information : The Big Dan was cast using a method called roto-casting, where the resin is poured into a mould and rotated over two axis’ to evenly coat the inside of the mould. The larger pieces are usually done in this method to keep the weight down as some collectors had issues with the weight of the Big Dennis and Gnasher. If memory serves me right, the base is cast solid to give it stability. I think is was the first beano piece to be done in this method. RRP :- £79.95
