This is a first prototype, indentified by a 'paper' International Rescue logo used on the sash. This would be replaced by a water transfer / decal in the production pieces. A ceramic resin figurine designed, sculpted & painted in Shropshire, England. Produced as a Painting Master and Exibition Example. Approximately 6.5 inches (170mm) tall. Comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Robert Harrop. Presentation box also included.  Listed for auction on the 23rd October 2009

A ceramic resin figurine designed, sculpted & painted in Shropshire, England. Produced in 2006 as a Exhibition or Photographic Example. As such, you will notice the hand painted and paper cutout livery instead of the decals of the production pieces. Approximately 9.3 inches (240mm) tall. Comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Robert Harrop. Presentation box also included. Here is a rare opportunity to own a Robert Harrop Designs 'Studio Painted Original', a figurine that came from the first rubber mould that itself was formed from the initial wax sculpt. This makes this piece at least one 'generation' larger than the retail production pieces. This particular figurine is an Original Studio Piece used for exhibition purposes or photographed for either our catalogues or other merchandising. As such, you will notice the hand painted and paper cutout livery instead of the decals of the production pieces. This unique piece will come complete with Certificate of Authenticity signed by Robert Harrop himself giving it a permanent catalogued history, protecting the future value of your new investment.
