A Limited Edition Of Only 250 Figurines!

Captain Blue, Captain Scarlet, Figurine


Born in 2035, Adam Svenson, AKA Captain Blue, was the eldest son of a wealthy Boston financier. The family fortune ensured that Adam had a first-class education, of which he took full advantage by earning a full scholarship to Harvard University at the exceptionally early age of 16. Gaining first-class honours degrees in Economics, Technology, Applied Mathematics, Aerodynamics and Computer Control, he enrolled at the World Aeronautic Society in 2055, where he would receive training in military-based strategy and piloting skills, learning to become a test pilot.

He would soon become an accomplished and fearless pilot, and, in 2057, his superiors at the WAS believed that his inherent qualities could be put to better use and transferred him to the Security Department as an active Field Agent. The WAS’s security was persistently being compromised by that of enemy agents and it was Adam’s responsibility to take care of the problem.

Working in a covert environment of secrecy and paranoia, three assassination attempts were made on his life in the first six months alone, but despite the odds stacked against him he finally succeeded in bringing the reign of sabotage and spy infiltration to an end.

Adam’s success at the WAS brought him to the attention of the Spectrum selection committee, and, in 2065, he was approached with an offer of becoming a Spectrum Agent. Adam accepted and was given the code name of Captain Blue.

We have faithfully recreated Captain Blue here as a Limited Edition of only 250 figurines, complete with the jet-pack featured in the very first episode of Captain Scarlet 'The Mysterons'.

Born Paul Metcalfe, Captain Scarlet was born in Winchester in 2036. As Paul Metacalfe, he took degrees in Technology, History and Pure Mathematics at Winchester University before transferring to the West Point Military Academy. Joining the World Army Air Force, he was trained to pilot a variety of aircraft, drilled in survival techniques and given the expertise to handle hundreds of weapons. Quickly rising to the rank of Colonel, the youngest ever in the WAAF, Paul Metcalfe was then head-hunted by Spectrum in 2066 and assigned the codename of Captain Scarlet.

In a Spectrum mission to save the World President, Captain Scarlet is killed in a car accident engineered by the Mysterons and replaced with a duplicate body under their control. However, when Captain Scarlet’s duplicate is shot and falls to its death, it returns to life free from the Mysteron influence and with Scarlet's consciousness restored. Although still inhabiting the duplicate body, Captain Scarlet is still able to operate as a Spectrum agent with the added bonus of indestructibility unwittingly given to him by the Mysterons. If injured or killed his body has the power of retro-metabolism that will restore him to a state of perfect health, an invaluable weapon to thwart the continued threat of the Mysterons.

We have faithfully recreated Captain Scarlet here as a Limited Edition of only 250 figurines, complete in the winter uniform and respirator featured in the 'Avalanche' episode.

Lieutenant Green serves as the personal assistant to Spectrum commander-in-chief Colonel White, and is shown to be an expert in computer programming and electronics. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, he is the only lieutenant among its personnel.

Real name Seymour Griffiths, he spends most of his time in the Cloudbase control room. He assists Colonel White in the execution of Spectrum assignments by accessing data and radio links from a large supercomputer, which he operates from a moveable chair. At White's command, Green can activate the control room's display screen or speak on the base's public address system. Green rarely leaves Cloudbase, although he occasionally mentions how he would relish an opportunity to meet primary Mysteron agent Captain Black "face-to-face". On a rare excursion out of Cloudbase in ‘Lunarville 7’, Lieutenant Green assists Captain Scarlet and Captain Blue to investigate reports of unauthorised construction on the far side of the Moon.

Here he is holding the Mysteron Detector, used to wheedle out Mysteron agents assuming human form. A crucial piece of kit in the Spectrum arsenal and battle against the Mysteron forces.

Sculpted by Mike Rogers, each official Captain Ochre figurine is a Limited Edition of only 150 pieces Worldwide. To mark its provenance, each exclusive piece will be hand numbered on the base with a unique edition number and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity!

Captain Ochre

Captain Ochre was born Richard Fraser in Detroit on February 23rd, 2035. The only Spectrum agent not to attend university, Fraser was a keen amateur pilot and learned to fly at 16. Because of his lack of formal qualifications he was turned down by the World Army Air Force and opted instead to join the World Government Police Corps. After three years of basic training, Richard became thoroughly engrossed in detective work and his real character and abilities began to emerge.

Transferring to Chicago in 2059, he brought down one of the toughest crime syndicates in the U.S., demonstrating superb detective skills and excellent leadership qualities. Rising quickly through the WGPC ranks, in 2065 Fraser was approached by the Spectrum selection committee and given the opportunity of joining their fledgling organisation.

Given that he was well-known in the public eye, Spectrum orchestrated ‘Operation Jigsaw’ and Fraser was brutally assassinated. The news of his apparent demise was relayed around the world, but in truth he was only shot with a tranquillizer dart and Richard Fraser became Captain Ochre of Spectrum.

Symphony Angel is one of five ace pilots for Spectrum. Flying the Angel Interceptor aircraft from the floating Cloudbase HQ, Symphony and her team offer air support to the Spectrum agents on the ground.

Symphony Angel, real name Karen Wainwright, was born on January 6th, 2042, in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Karen was a gifted child and at only 16 years of age she was sent to Yale University, where she excelled herself, gaining seven degrees in the study of mathematics and technology.

Her abilities attracted the attention of the Universal Secret Service (USS) and soon after Karen graduated they offered her employment. Karen readily accepted and she passed the USS’s 5 year training course in only two years. By 2062, Karen was a fully fledged USS field agent, dealing solely with industrial espionage, and within five years she became the USS’s number one secret agent.

While training as a pilot for a USS mission Karen fell in love with flying and she left the USS in 2067 to join a charter company, dealing with worldwide passenger transport. Karen’s flying skills were so good that she soon gained worldwide recognition, and even became headline news.

Her many talents and potential were soon recognised by Spectrum, and she was offered the chance to become one of their ace pilots. Karen passed the entrance exam with ease and was enlisted by Spectrum to become Symphony Angel.
